This month (October) is National Domestic Violence Awareness month and Heaven 100.1’s The Chef is committing to making Heaven a part of the movement. On Friday, October 4, he had local Men Against Domestic Violence (M.A.D.) leader and legislative activist Christian Rainey in-studio to discuss the 7th annual Detra Rainey “Stop the Violence” awareness event being held the next day. “The number one thing we have to do,” as Christian says, “is to admit that we have a problem.”
