Often referred to as the “Godfather of Gospel/Jazz”, Ben Tankard‘s instrumental music has bridged the gap between two genres and topped the #1 spot in both the smooth jazz and gospel billboards. Standing 6’6″ tall, he is a former professional basketball player (shooting guard). He and his lovely wife Jewel Tankard have 5 children and 6 grandchildren.
