Kickoff Fire Prevention Week with your family at the Citadel Mall.

Saturday, Oct. 8, the Charleston Fire Department is hosting a full day of family fun including demonstrations, games, and activities for everyone.

The theme for this day, and Fire Prevention Week is “Fire Won’t Wait, Plan Your Escape.” Join men and women from fire departments from all over the Lowcountry at the Citadel Mall.

Be there for this free family safety day, including:

  • Demonstrations, games, and activities for the entire family
  • Fire, EMS and police vehicles on display
  • Safety information from the 911 team
