Saturday, May 20 | Moncks Corner Recreation Complex

Be a part of one of the most fun, and unique, 5K events in the Lowcountry! It’s the Give Me Shelter Color 5K, presented, by Home Telecom, Saturday, May 20. Come run (or walk) approximately 3 miles through the town of Moncks Corner and get showered with color along the way! Friendly pets and strollers are welcome at this family friendly event that begins and ends at the Moncks Corner Recreation Complex.

The Give Me Shelter Color 5K benefits all youth and families served by CYDC in Berkeley County as well as the Callen-Lacey Center for Children in Moncks Corner.

The Carolina Youth Development Center provides programs reaching over 900 children, youth and their families locally each year. They care for young people who are victims of physical and sexual abuse, neglect and abandonment, as well as providing resources and support to area families at risk of having their children removed from their home.
