20th Annual Hunley Oyster Roast
Friday, Oct. 24 | Visitor Bus Shed – Downtown Charleston

Even though it’s been 25 years since the H.L. Hunley was raised up out of the waters of Charleston Harbor, the legacy of the world’s first successful combat submarine lives on with maritime preservationists and is still being taught to new generations. The Hunley is a well-known part of South Carolina’s storied history, a way to remember the successes and failures of human ingenuity.

This year, The Friends of The Hunley are hosting the 20th Annual Hunley Oyster Roast & Barbecue to celebrate and educate about the history of the Confederate submarine. The event features live musical entertainment, scrumptious barbecue and oysters, good vibes and raffles galore! Enjoy a night of food and fun, all while supporting preservation efforts and the education of future generations about the legendary submarine!

The event takes place on Friday, Oct. 24 from 7 PM to 10 PM at the Visitor Bus Shed in Downtown Charleston. Secure your tickets today by clicking here!
