National Walking Day:
Get Out & Walk for Your Heart on Wednesday, April 3

Wednesday, April 3 is a day for the Lowcountry to get out and walk.

Since their beginnings, the American Heart Association has been a champion for physical activity in communities across the country. That’s why they created National Walking Day, the first Wednesday in April, more than a decade ago.

Take part in National Walking Day on Wednesday, April 3 – taking a simple walk is one of the best ways to manage stress and improve heart health. In honor of the organization’s Centennial year, join Charleston American Heart Association for a walk to reduce stress and take steps toward a longer, healthier life.
