Join the Annual Walk for Water to Help Families Get Clean Water
Saturday, March 21 | Riverfront Park
Around the world, the struggle to get access to clean, fresh water is very real. Millions of women and children must walk more than three miles a day to provide water, often dirty and contaminated, for their household needs. Together, we can take a stand to change that and improve the health and lives of people, which is what the Water Mission seeks to accomplish.
The 2026 Walk for Water event is a day to walk, remember, and raise funds for those who don’t have the same free, immediate clean water access that so many of us do. Water Mission encourages people to join them at Riverfront Park on March 21 to participate in the same walk millions must make daily to survive. Walkers will walk one mile with an empty bucket to a midway point, fill the bucket with dirty water, and complete another one-mile trek with a full bucket. The money raised from this event goes to help the Water Mission provide safe, clean water for people who need to survive.
Registration for the walk is open now. Click here to sign up or donate today!
