“But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” – Deuteronomy 8:18

This week, Dr. Jonathan Fowler calls us back to the altar with a reminder of the Old Testament command given in Deuteronomy 8:18. “It’s so easy to get caught up and we forget about God… I believe we’re in a season where the Lord is calling us back to the altar. The altar represents a set, consecrated place where we spend time with God. Every time there was an encounter, there was an altar. Every time there was a miracle, there was an altar. Every time God brought His people into a new place, there was an altar. Anytime an enemy was defeated, there was an altar.” Listen as Dr. Fowler exhorts us to “Go back to the altar. Build an altar in your home. Build an altar at your job. Build an altar in your community. Build an altar at your church. An altar is simply a place where you can meet God.”
