“Faith Bootcamp” (1 Samuel 16:12)
Dr. Jonathan Fowler | Improving Lives Church

This week, Dr. Jonathan Fowler prepares us for an anointing that will “strengthen our faith, release our faith and help us see the results of our faith.” He says, “We miss the real power of faith because we only apply faith for tangible things. When the truth be told, if you look in the scripture, faith should be applied to receive the promises of the Spirit. Let’s move beyond using our faith for tangible manifestations and use our faith to possess the promises of the Holy Spirit.”

1 Samuel 16:12 says, “And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.” Dr. Fowler points out, “Notice that, when [Jesse’s] other sons came, God never spoke… it wasn’t until the anointed one showed up that God spoke… “In this season, you’re not going to have to announce yourself, but when you show up God will make the announcement: ‘Here comes the anointed one.’ Listen as Dr. Fowler prepares us for the season God is bringing us into where “you will not have to announce yourself, but God will make the announcement” and our new faith will enable us to receive the promises of the Holy Spirit.
