“We’ve got to realize it’s God that elevates. It’s God that gives the gifts. It’s God that gives the ability. You must understand that you’re still human.” This week, Pastor Kevin Brown uses Paul’s message about unity in his letter to the Philippians (Philippians 2) to highlight what constitutes a servant’s heart – an acknowledgment that we are God’s instrument not his favorite. Listen as Pastor Brown shows the way out of the trap of “vainglory” to a servant’s heart: “The key is to receive the Word of God and make changes, so God can use you. The more you grow – that stuff grows with you. And Satan will use that very danger to bring your hiney your down because you didn’t deal with it when you had the opportunity to deal with it.”
