This week, Pastor Kevin Brown continues his five-part series on grace and law by explaining God’s unwavering, unearned extension of grace to all who accept it: “It’s not the Lord that’s damning the world. What’s damning the world is their refusal to believe… Whether or not we receive the gospel, God still loves you. Receiving the gospel is your choice. It doesn’t make God love you any less or any more. You understand? God don’t love you any more than He loves somebody else. We are children of God, yes. We are born of God, yes. But all that means is we’re in a better position. That’s all it means. It doesn’t mean that God don’t love the sinner. This is hard for people to understand. How can God love folk don’t love Him? Because His love is unconditional. Has no strings attached to it.” Listen as Pastor Brown explains grace’s surprising relationship to sin: “As the days become darker, God’s grace becomes more evident in our lives.”
