“People have got to get back to… the importance of submitting ourselves to the Truth. We think submitting to the Word is supposed to help God. It helps us. It allows us to experience the blessing and the glory.” This week, Pastor Kevin Brown uses Elijah’s conversation with King Ahab in 1 Kings 21 to show us why the Bible puts such a heavy emphasis on obedience. He says, “The truth of God’s Word should be prospering in our lives. It should be seen.  It should be evident… When others can begin to see, not the blessing, but the obedience that comes from your life, then they’ll see the blessing. The blessing is much more than material things. The blessing will take you places money can’t… That’s favor. You don’t need money when you have favor. All you need is God.”
