“A lot of us don’t understand what judgment really is as it relates to the Word of God… if we’re going to judge, it has to be righteous judgment.” This week, Pastor Kevin Brown draws on numerous New Testament scriptures about judgment – man’s kind and God’s kind – to help us learn the characteristics of that separate judgment in the world’s eyes from the divine discernment God exercises and encourages in us. “Leaders, saints, we are supposed to judge with righteous judgment. But you can’t be doing the same thing you’re trying to judge another person for,” he clarifies. Listen as Pastor Brown boils down John 7:24, Romans 2:1-5 and Matt. 7:1-5 to this simple takeaway: “The Lord is saying… clean your act up first before you judge somebody else.”
