“The Word is the Antidote – Faith Pt. 3” (Proverbs 3:7-8, Proverbs 8:13)
Pastor Kevin Brown | Kingdom Vision Christian Center

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.” (Proverbs 3:7-8)

“The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.” (Proverbs 8:13)

This week, Pastor Kevin Brown references two passages in Proverbs (Proverbs 3:7-8, Proverbs 8:13) to walk us through some critical etymology that reveals just how literally sin and its antidote, God’s Word, affect us in the physical realm. “The Word is God doeth good like medicine. That’s literally. That word medicine means a cure. The Word of God is a cure… It’s an antidote for every area of your life,” he says. Listen as Pastor Brown debunks the myth that the spiritual and physical are separate in these verses: “Most people will say to you, ‘That’s spiritual. He’s talking about the spirit.’ No, He’s not. He’s talking about the flesh. ‘Cause He doesn’t heal your spirit. He recreated your spirit. There’s a difference.”
