“Being the Church” (2 Timothy 3:1-9)
Apostle Bernard Whaley | Faith in Action Kingdom Ministries

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” (2 Timothy 3:1-5)

This week, Apostle Bernard Whaley addresses the difference between “knowing how to do church” versus actually being the church. Apostle Whaley hones in on hypocritical lifestyles and behaviors of some practicing in the church that directly contradict the way Christians are called to live. 2 Timothy 3:15 in the Amplified Version describes those people this way: “…holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith].” Listen as Apostle Whaley exhorts us to cry out for God to deliver us from these behaviors and inject new life into our relationship with Him.
