“In Search of True Worshippers” (John 4:5-42)
Apostle Bernard Whaley | Faith in Action Kingdom Ministries

“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” – John 4:23-24

Noting the difference between the high attendance at professional football games and low attendance at churches across the country, Apostle Bernard Whaley asks the question: Where are the true worshippers? “Jesus said to the woman at the well that the Father is looking for true worshippers,” he says. “The pandemic exposed where your hearts really are. If your hearts were into God, then you would honor God with your presence and your stepping out because then you would make a difference… and there would not be so much fear.” Listen as Apostle Whaley issues an empowered call for the Body of Christ to return to church and reclaim its power in the Spirit: “I believe this is a clarion call to the Body of Christ to wake up, step up, stand up and stay up. And be what it is that the Father has called you to be. Let us come away from running away from the Church, let us open our churches back. Let us begin to pray and seek and save the lost at all costs. The Bible says that one can chase away 1,00 devils and two can chase away 10,000 devils.”
