“What I Give is Free” (Isaiah 55:1)
Apostle Bernard Whaley | Faith in Action Kingdom Ministries

This week, Apostle Bernard Whaley gives us an encouraging message out of a familiar passage of scripture – Isaiah 55:1, which begins: “Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink— even if you have no money! Come, take your choice of wine or milk— it’s all free! Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good?” Or, as Apostle Whaley translates, “God says, ‘Come to me and what I’m gonna give you is wayyyy better and way more than what these folks have been giving you. And it’s free – free!… You’re spending money, you’re putting time in things that are not strengthening you, it’s not blessing you and you’re going through the motions. You life is still raggy, you’re still messed up, you’re still struggling, you’re still broke, you’re busted, you’re disgusted…” Listen as Apostle Whaley provides the solution to the emptiness of the world’s promises: “Only time we get into trouble is when we don’t listen to God; is when we do our own thing. If you listen to God and you give him an open ear and you follow His instruction, you’ll never fail.”
