“Your Deliverance is in Your Mouth” (Prov. 18:21)
Apostle Bernard Whaley | Faith in Action Kingdom Ministries

Before Apostle Bernard Whaley dives into today’s message, he takes moment to remind us that, during this extended recovery time from the COVID-19 pandemic, “God has not put us in survival mode, he’s put us in revival mode.”

Today’s message comes from Prov. 18:21 which says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Apostle Whaley summarizes: “Your deliverance is in your mouth… on the same token, your bondage is also in your mouth. This is a very powerful piece of scripture.” Mark 11:23 corroborates that truth: “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Listen as Apostle Whaley explains how the church’s biggest problem is a loss of identity – “we forget who we are” – that allows “the devil to steal your rights,” unless we wield the power of the tongue for life.
