“Dancing in the Rain” (Habakkuk 1:6, 2:1-3, 3:2-18)
Rev. Dr. Isaac Holt, Jr. | Royal Missionary Baptist Church

How do you handle bad news, especially when that bad news is coming from God? This week, Rev. Dr. Isaac Holt, Jr. asks some timely and difficult questions: “How do you tell the difference between an attack of the devil and a move of God? How do you choose between whether you’re in a pandemic or in a purging?”

“We like to think of God as being good all the time… But do we identify and define His goodness according to our standards of what is good and is what is evil?” Pastor Holt asks. “Our definition of God being good is tied to what He gives us. When God gives us something he’s good, but when he takes something from us, we want to know what’s wrong.” Accept Pastor Holt’s challenge to examine the measuring stick by which we judge our circumstances and ask yourself, “But is God still good – can we still be in his will – when he allows bad, painful, sorrowful, hurtful things to happen to us? Can we dance in the rain?” We believe God with you that God is about to speak a word that is especially for you.
