“God is There” (Ezekiel 1:1-21)
Rev. Dr. Isaac Holt, Jr. | Royal Missionary Baptist Church

In difficult seasons, it’s easy to ask “Where is God?” This week, Rev. Dr. Isaac Holt, Jr. picks up the story of Israel after they had been defeated by the Chaldeans (later to become the Babylonians) and forced to march 100 miles in the desert to be slaves to King Nebuchadnezzar. (Ezekiel 1:1-21) Rev. Holt asks, “Have you ever been in a tough place in your life? A place where you’ve never been before? And you wondered silently, maybe you wondered openly, but you showed it visibly that you questioned where is your God? God that you served. God that you depended on. And now you find yourself in a situation where you wonder, ‘Where are you, God?'” Listen as Pastor Holt gives us the same simple answer God gave to the captive priest Ezekiel in his vision by the river, “God is there.” We believe God with you that God is about to speak a word that is especially for you.
