“It’s Only a Temporary Inconvenience” (2 Cor. 4:17-18)
Rev. Dr. Isaac Holt, Jr. | Royal Missionary Baptist Church

“Greater is He than he who is in the world.” Before delivering today’s message, Rev. Dr. Isaac Holt, Jr. encourages us to remember that, as He did with Job, He’ll also put a hedge around us during these uncertain times. (Job 1:10)

Today’s message comes from the archives, but has never been more relevant. Speaking from 2 Cor. 4:17-18, which calls our afflictions “momentary,” Pastor Holt reminds us that today’s problems are “only a temporary inconvenience” and that “Your problems showed up to work for you today. You think they’re working against you. They’re working FOR you.” God ultimately promises that, when He allows us to be thrown out of one place, it’s to show us that “I’ll open a door to another place.” We believe God with you that God is about to speak a word that is especially for you.
