“I’ve Got Sunshine” (Habakkuk 3:17-18)
Rev. Dr. Isaac Holt, Jr. | Royal Missionary Baptist Church

Today, Rev. Dr. Isaac Holt, Jr. preaches from the book of Habakkuk to remind us of the importance of faith in difficult times: “Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines… Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” (Habakkuk 3:17-18)

“We’re living in cloudy days… fear seems to be everywhere that faith used to be – even in the church,” Pastor Holt says, citing cultural, spiritual and economic paradoxes that affect our lives in every way. He draws a parallel between the church’s present circumstances and the way God used the Babylonian invasion to address a problem in His people that ran deeper than the symptoms Habakkuk was complaining about. We believe God with you that God is about to speak a word that is especially for you.
