“Lord Keep My Mind” (Philippians 4:6-8)
Rev. Dr. Isaac Holt, Jr. | Royal Missionary Baptist Church

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-8) This week, Rev. Dr. Isaac Holt, Jr. delivers a timely message about stress, distraction and leaning on God to help manage our thoughts. There are many things that can stress, distract us and harm us and it starts in the mind, thus the need for the Lord to “keep our minds.” Listen as Pastor Holt exhorts us to think on “whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise” and guard against Satan’s agenda, which is to “get into your life” via the door of the mind. We believe God with you that God is about to speak a word that is especially for you.
