“Pleasing God Matters” (Proverbs 16:7, Mark 1:9-11)
Rev. Dr. Isaac Holt, Jr. | Royal Missionary Baptist Church

“‘and only what you do for God will last’… ‘when a man’s ways please the Lord, He maketh even your enemies be at peace with you.'” (Proverbs 16:7) This week, Rev. Dr. Isaac Holt, Jr. examines the life of Jesus as an example of how to please God. Listen as he clarifies how to examine our own motives in every day life, “A man’s ways. His conduct. His walk, not His talk. His intended destination behind every move He makes to get there. Why did you do that? Where are you headed with that comment you just made? Your ways. Why did you feel that guilt? Your ways. Like a dad confronting his daughter’s boyfriend who’s been picking her up every night, bringing her back late for months. He will confront him.” We believe God with you that God is about to speak a word that is especially for you.
